Make sure the handle clicks and locks into the front handle release buttons (4). ◆ Connecting the tool to the mains Unless the tool is fitted with a mains cable, you will need to connect an extension cable to the power inlet. ◆ Connect the female socket of a suitable extension cable to the power inlet of the tool. ◆ Insert the mains plug into a mains outlet. ◆ Warning! The extension cable must be suitable for outdoor use. When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable completely.
Troubleshooting EC declaration of conformity If the tool does not operate correctly, check the following. Fault Tool will not start. Possible cause Blown fuse. Tripped RCD. Mains lead not connected. Handle not locked. Action Replace fuse. Check RCD. Check mains supply. Release handle, then re-position.
