Assembly Warning! Before assembly, make sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged. KA270(GT)K - Random orbit sanding base With this sanding base, you can use the tool as a random orbit sander. Fitting and removing the sanding base (fig. B) Place the sanding base (4) onto the spindle (12). Place the washer (13) onto the spindle. Insert the Allen screw (14) into the screw hole in the spindle. Tighten the Allen screw using the Allen key (15) supplied.
The additional piece of velcro fastener (23) can be attached to the top surface of the louvre attachment to allow for sanding using both sides. Remove the backing paper from the velcro fastener (23). Stick the velcro fastener to the top surface of the louvre attachment. Fit the sanding piece (23) to the velcro fastener. Use Warning! Let the tool work at its own pace. Do not overload. Warning! Do not cover the ventilation slots when using the tool. Hold the tool as shown in fig.
