ENGLISH (Original instructions) Kickback and related warnings Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched or snagged rotating wheel, backing pad, brush or any other accessory. Pinching or snagging causes rapid stalling of the rotating accessory which in turn causes the uncontrolled power tool to be forced in the direction opposite of the accessory's rotation at the point of the binding.
(Original instructions) Safety warnings specific for sanding operations u Do not use excessively oversized sanding disc paper. Follow manufacturers recommendations, when selecting sanding paper. Larger sanding paper extending beyond the sanding pad presents a laceration hazard and may cause snagging, tearing of the disc or kickback. Safety warnings specific for polishing operations u Do not allow any loose portion of the polishing bonnet or its attachment strings to spin freely.
ENGLISH u (Original instructions) Secure the flange with the screws (10). Make sure that the screws are fully tight and that the guard can be rotated. Removing u Use a screwdriver to remove the screws (10). u Remove the flange (9), guard (6) and spring washer (8). Store these parts carefully. Warning! Never use the tool without the guard. Adjusting the guard The guard can be rotated 90°. u Rotate the guard as required.
