90528647 01 PSV1800 PIVOT CRDL VAC 10/16/08 7:47 AM Page 6 N M 11 10 O 12 12 ASSEMBLY Assembly tools required (not supplied) • Phillips screwdriver ATTACHING HANDLE TO UNIT (FIGURE A) • Align the D-handle with the main body of the unit and push it down until it is fully seated as shown in figure A. • Remove the phillips head screw from the plastic bag. • Insert the screw into the hole indicated by the arrow in figure A. • Tighten screw securely using a phillips screwdriver.

OPERATION • Before first use, the battery must be charged for at least 21 hours. • Place the appliance on the charging base (6) whenever it is not in use.

(It feels slightly warm to the touch.) • The charger cord is not damaged and is correctly attached to the base. • The charger is plugged into a working electrical outlet. • The appliance was switched to the off position to charge. The battery will not be charged with the on/off switch in the on position.

Le modèle PSV1800 se range et se charge sur la base lorsqu’il est inutilisé. AVERTISSEMENT : RISQUE DE CHUTE OU DE TRÉBUCHEMENT. Ne pas placer la base de charge sur une surface élevée. Le produit est conçu pour se ranger sur sa base de charge et être repris à partir de celle-ci lorsqu’elle est déposée au sol près d’une prise électrique.

Pour nettoyer la surface externe de la section du moteur, utiliser un chiffon humide et de l’eau savonneuse.
