2. Tap Recents.
Clear your recent places
You can clear the list of recently viewed places in BlackBerry Maps.
Tip: If you have places that you want to keep so that you don't have to search for them again, add them as a favorite before
you permanently clear the list.
1. In the Maps app, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap The Settings icon > Clear History.
3. Do one of the following:
To delete your history, recent destinations, and searches, tap Clear Recents.
To delete your recent places and searches, and reset the app to the default settings, tap Reset Maps.
View a contact’s address on a map
If you have added an address to an entry in the Contacts app, you can view the contact's location on a map and get
directions.
1.
In the Map app, tap The More Actions icon > The My Places icon .
2. Tap Contacts.
3. Touch and hold a contact's name.
4.
Tap The Map icon .
Changing settings for Maps
Switch between kilometers or miles
BlackBerry Maps displays distances using either imperial (feet/yards and miles) or metric (meters and kilometers)
measurements, as set in your device settings.
1. In the Maps app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2.
Tap Settings > Units of Measure.
3. Tap Change Device Settings.
Change default route settings
If you always want BlackBerry Maps to show you the fastest or shortest route, or want to avoid certain things on your route,
such as highways, toll roads, car-sharing lanes, or ferries, you can change your default settings.
