Transfer contact info using a SIM card
Your BlackBerry Passport device uses a nano SIM card. As such, this data transfer method is only available if you're
switching from a BlackBerry Passport to another BlackBerry Passport.
1. On your previous device, tap Contacts.
2. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap The Settings icon .
4. Under SIM Card, tap Copy Contacts from Device to SIM Card.
5. When your contacts are copied to your SIM card, remove the SIM card and insert it into your new device.
6. On your new device, tap Contacts.
7. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
8.
Tap The Settings icon .
9. Under SIM Card, tap Import Contacts from SIM Card.
Note: If you have BlackBerry Balance installed on your device, contact information saved in your work space may not be
copied to your SIM card.
Add an email account to your new device
To transfer calendar and contact information that is associated with an email account, add that email account to your new
BlackBerry 10 device.
1. On the home screen of your new device, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap Image Settings.
3. Tap Accounts.
4. Tap Email, Calendar and Contacts.
5. Enter the email address for the account that you want to add.
6. Tap Next.
7. Enter the email account password.
8. Tap Next.
After you add the email account, any calendar and contact information associated with that account is accessible on your
new BlackBerry 10 device.
After you switch devices
After you finish switching to your new BlackBerry 10 device, if you used a media card in your old device, move it to your
new device. Also, consider doing the following:
