Gestures for the Home screen
Task Gesture
Switch between the work and personal workspaces Swipe down from the top of the screen using three fingers.
Tap once with one finger to set the focus of regard on the
workspace, then double tap with one finger to select the
workspace.
Minimize the application and show your Active Frames Swipe up from the bottom. This gesture is the same as the
one used outside the BlackBerry Screen Reader.
Close an Active Frame Tap and hold with one finger, then move your finger to the
app. The point of regard is set under your finger. Then,
double-tap with two fingers to close the app.
Media cards and storage
A media card lets you store more pictures, videos, music, and documents on your BlackBerry device! The files that you
store on your device can be transferred between your device and your computer in just a few steps.
Moving or copying media files and documents
You can drag and drop documents, pictures, videos, music, and other files by using your BlackBerry device as a drive on
your computer.
You can also use BlackBerry Blend to keep your media files and documents in sync between your device and your
computer. To download BlackBerry Blend, on your computer, visit www.blackberry.com/BlackBerryBlend. For more
information about synchronizing media files and documents, see the Help in BlackBerry Blend.
Tip: To locate files on your device, if you know the file or folder name, tap Search to search for it.
Transfer files between your computer and device using a USB connection

Using a USB cable, connect your BlackBerry device to your computer.
This illustration shows where you connect the cable to the USB port on the bottom of the device.
2. If necessary, enter your device password.
Your device and media card appear as drives on your computer.
