Maps and GPS
Keep moving in the right direction with BlackBerry Maps, GPS, and the Compass app. You can search for points of interest,
get turn-by-turn directions, and much more.
Find a place on a map
You can use the GPS feature on your BlackBerry device to search for a location and then view it on a map to see how to get
there.
1. In the Maps app, on the Map tab, enter an address or a descriptive word, such as "coffee" or "hospital" in the search
field.
2. Do one of the following:
To view all of the search results as pins on the map, tap Search.
To view a specific search result as a pin on the map, tap a search result.
Pin a place on a map
Add pins to your map to keep track of where you're going or to mark points of interest.
In the Maps app, on the Map tab, touch and hold the place that you want to pin.
To clear all of the pins from a map, on the Map tab, tap The More icon > The Clear Map icon .
Start turn-by-turn directions
Verify that location services are turned on and that your BlackBerry device has established a GPS connection.
1. In the Maps app, find a place by doing one of the following:
On the Map tab, search for an address or a place using the Search field. In the search results, tap a place.
On the Map tab, locate a pin on the map. Tap the pin.
On the My Places tab, tap a place or contact.

Tap the Go icon .

To begin receiving turn-by-turn directions, tap the Start icon .
To stop turn-by-turn directions in the map view or detail view, tap the End Trip icon . To stop turn-by-turn directions in the
street-level view, tap anywhere on the screen > the End Trip icon .
