Add a new search engine
You can add search engines so that they appear in the drop down when you search for a term in the BlackBerry Browser.
Note: This feature is not available for some search engines.
1. Navigate to a search page, for example, www.wikipedia.com.
2. Enter a search term.

On the search results page, tap The More icon > The Add Search icon .
4. Tap Add.
Remove a search engine
1. Open the BlackBerry Browser and type a search term in the search bar.
2. Tap the search engine icon in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Touch and hold a search engine.

Tap The Remove icon .
Using Browser tabs
Just like on your computer’s browser, you can open multiple webpages in tabs and switch between the tabs quickly.
Open, switch between, or close tabs
In the BlackBerry Browser, tap The Tabs icon .
• To open a tab, tap The Add New Tab icon .
• To switch between tabs, tap a tab.
• To close a tab, on the tab that you want to close, tap The close tab icon .
Tip
: Close a tab when you're finished with it to improve the performance of the Browser.
Open a link in a new tab
1. In the Browser, touch and hold a link.

Tap Open Link in New Tab .
Share a link or picture
You can share items on the web through an email, a text message, Facebook, Twitter, BBM, and more.
