• To add the recipient to your Contacts, tap The Add to Contacts icon .
Compose an email in plain text format
You can reduce the size of email messages or email threads by switching from HTML format to plain text format.

In an email, tap The More icon .

Tap The Plain Text icon .
Change text formatting in an email
Bold, italicize, and underline text; create ordered and bulleted lists; and change the font size and colors.

While composing a message, tap The Format icon .
2. Use the formatting toolbar to apply formatting to your text.
Forward a text message
1. In the BlackBerry Hub, touch and hold a text message.

Tap Forward .
Managing messages
Stay organized by managing your messages in the BlackBerry Hub. You can file messages, flag important messages, or
save draft messages for later.
Delete a message
In the BlackBerry Hub, do any of the following:
• To delete a single message, touch and hold the message. Tap The Delete icon .
• To delete more than one message, touch and hold a message. Tap The Select More icon . Tap the other messages you
want to delete. Tap
The Delete icon .
• To delete all messages before a specific date, touch and hold the date bar. Messages that were sent or received before
that date are highlighted. Tap The Delete Prior icon .
• To delete messages only from your device, but keep them on the messaging server, tap The More icon > The Settings
icon > Display and Actions. In the Delete On drop-down list, select Hub Only.
Filing email
You might not be able to file an email or create folders for an email, depending on the account that an email is in.
