Music shortcuts
Want to control your music faster and easier when you're in the Music app? Try some of the tips and shortcuts below.
• To quickly skip songs, turn on the Music Shortcuts. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap
Settings Settings > Main Volume. Set the Music Shortcuts switch to On. To skip songs, press and hold the Volume Up
key or Volume Down key.
• You can also control the volume of the song that you're listening to using the volume slider. If the volume slider isn't
visible, on the Now Playing screen, tap the album's cover art.
• To add the song that's currently playing to a playlist, on the Now Playing screen, tap The more icon > The add to
playlist icon .
Troubleshooting: Music
I can't open a media file
Make sure the file is in a format that your BlackBerry device supports.
Videos
You can use the Videos app on your BlackBerry device to play, edit, organize, and display your videos.

Watch your videos
In the Videos app, do any of the following:
• To see the videos that you downloaded or uploaded to your BlackBerry device organized into albums, tap The Albums
icon .
• To see the videos that you recorded on your device organized by the date that you recorded them, tap The Date view
icon .
• To see the videos that you recently watched, tap The Recent icon .
Tip
: The unwatched indicator on a video thumbnail, The Unwatched videos icon , indicates that the video hasn't been
watched yet.
