Spell check
The BlackBerry Keyboard includes a spell check feature. Third-party spell checkers can be installed and used with the
keyboard, but for best results, use the BlackBerry Spell Checker.
Turn on spell check
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Language & input > Spell checker.
3. Set the Spell checker switch to On.
4. Select the BlackBerry Spell Checker.
Change spell check settings
You can change spell check settings, such as whether the spell checker can look in your contact list for name corrections.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.

Tap > Language & input > Spell checker.
3.
Tap beside the BlackBerry Spell Checker.
Accept spelling suggestions
If spell check is turned on, spelling mistakes are underlined as you type.
