Turn o all sounds and notifications except calls
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Sound & notification > Interruptions.
3. Tap When calls and notifications arrive > Allow only priority interruptions.
4. Tap a length of time, and then tap OK.
5. Under Priority Interruptions, turn on the Calls switch, and then turn o all other switches.
Tip: You can also adjust your notifications when you press the Volume down key and tap Do Not Disturb, Priority, or
Normal.
Turn o all alerts
You can silence your device temporarily or indefinitely.
1. From the home screen, press the Volume down key on the side of your device.
2. If necessary, tap
Notifications.
3. Tap Do Not Disturb, and then tap an option.
Customize
notifications for an app
You can edit the notification settings for individual apps such as your email accounts, BBM, and more.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Sound and notification > App notifications.
3. Tap an app.
4. Do one of the following:
• To ignore notifications from the app, turn on the Block switch.
• To see notifications from the app at the top of your notifications list, and to receive priority notification
interruptions, turn on the Priority switch.
• If available, to set a custom LED color for the app, turn on the Customize LED Color switch. Tap LED Color and
then tap a color.
• To set the number of times your device vibrates when you receive a
notification from the app, turn on the
Customize Vibrations switch. Tap Number of Vibrations and then tap a number.
• To allow notifications from an app to appear on the lock screen, but to keep the notification contents hidden, turn
on the Sensitive switch. (To see this switch, a screen lock option, such as a password, must be set.)
