Access music controls
If you close the case when you are playing music, you see information about the song, such as the artist name, in the case
window.
Do any of the following:
• To see more information about the song, scroll up.
• Tap a control, such as Pause or Next.
Storage space and media cards
Using a media card
Get more space to store your ringtones, videos, pictures, songs, and more when you insert a microSD card into your device.
By using a media card, you can expand your device's storage space by up to 2 TB. Using a media card can also help
increase the performance and power eciency of your device, and can allow you to transfer your data from your current
device to another device that supports media card transfers.
To use a media card with a capacity greater than 32 GB, you must download the Microsoft exFAT Technologydriver for
BlackBerry. A notification appears when you insert the media card into your device. Make sure that you are connected to
the Internet, and then tap the
notification to download the driver.
Delete the data from your media card
To help protect your privacy, you can permanently delete all of the data on your media card. Depending on the amount of
data, this process might take some time.
CAUTION:
After you wipe your media card, you can't recover any of the deleted data.
1. Make sure that your device isn’t connected to a computer.
2. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
3.
Tap > Storage.
4. In the SD card section, tap Erase SD card > Erase SD card.
Note:
When you delete the data from your media card, the media card is automatically formatted.
