Change the name of your device for Bluetooth connections
Your device has a default Bluetooth name. This name is visible to other Bluetooth enabled devices when you turn on
Bluetooth technology on your device and when you are connected to a Bluetooth enabled device. You can change the
default name to a dierent name that is more recognizable.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Bluetooth.
3. If necessary, turn on the switch.
4.
Tap > Rename this device.
5. Enter a new name for your device.
6. Tap Rename.
Change setup of a paired Bluetooth enabled device
Some Bluetooth enabled devices support more than one Bluetooth feature. You can turn a feature on or
o for a paired
Bluetooth enabled device. You can also change the name of a paired device as it appears on your device.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Bluetooth.
3.
Tap beside the device you want to change.
4. Do any of the following:
• To turn a feature on or o, tap the profile.
• To rename the device, in the Name field, enter the new name for the device.
5. Tap OK.
View a list of
files you received over Bluetooth
When a
file is sent to your device over a Bluetooth connection, you receive a notification asking you if you want to receive
the file. You can open the file from your notifications. You can also see a list of files you've received from the Bluetooth
settings screen.

Tap > Bluetooth.
3. If necessary, turn on the switch.
4.
Tap > Show received files.
