Add a VPN profile
You must set a screen lock for your device before you can add a VPN profile. For the network information required to add a
virtual private network (VPN) profile to your device, contact your administrator.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > More > VPN > .
3. Complete the fields on the screen.
4. Tap Save.
Connect to a VPN
You must add a virtual private network (VPN) profile to your device before you can connect to a VPN.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > More > VPN.
3. Tap a VPN profile.
4. Enter your login information, and then tap Save account information to connect automatically next time.
5. Tap Connect.
To disconnect from a VPN, on the VPN screen, tap the VPN profile you are connected to. Tap Disconnect.
Change or delete a VPN profile
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > More > VPN.
3. Touch and hold a VPN profile.
4. Do one of the following:
• Tap Edit profile. Change the information, and then tap Save.
• Tap Delete profile.
About Always-on mode
Some virtual private networks (VPNs) support Always-on mode. If Always-on mode is turned on and your device loses its
VPN connection, your device stops sending or receiving data until Always-on mode re-establishes the VPN connection
automatically.
Your device uses your login information to connect automatically to a VPN profile that is set up to use Always-on mode.
When connected, your device displays a notification in the notification drawer. The notification tells you the status of the
VPN connection.
