• To group background data and send it at set intervals, turn on the Queue cellular data switch.
To let all apps and services on your device send data in the background, tap > Allow background data. To let an app or
service send data in the background, turn o the Restrict app background data switch.
Stop sending data on some Wi-Fi networks
You can stop apps and services from sending data in the background, and prevent your device from downloading large files
when it's connected to certain Wi-Fi networks.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Data usage > > Network restrictions.
3. Tap a network name.

1. Press and hold the Power on/o key on the left side of your device.
2. Tap Power o.
Put your device in standby mode
When your device is in standby mode, the backlight turns o and the screen locks. Wireless connections and clock alarms
aren't aected.
Press the Power on/o key on the left side of your device.
To wake up your device, press the Power
on/o key.
