Turn on Battery saver mode
Battery saver mode conserves battery power by limiting features like vibration, location services, and data services.
Note: When Battery saver mode is turned on, some applications and messaging services that rely on syncing might not
update unless you open them.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.

Tap Battery saver.
Dim the screen
You can conserve battery power by lowering the screen brightness, choosing a dark-colored wallpaper, or changing the
screen sleep settings from the Display settings.

Tap > Display > Brightness level.
3. On the slider, drag the slider handle to the left.
Decrease volume
Do any of the following:
To decrease the device volume, use the volume keys on the side of your device.
To adjust other volume settings, such as media volume or alarm volume, swipe down from the top of the screen once
using two
fingers, or twice using one finger. Tap > Sound & notification.
Close apps and features
Increase how long your battery power lasts by closing any apps or features that you're not using so that they aren't
continuously running in the background. Some features consume more battery power than others, including the Camera
app, the Browser app, GPS, and Bluetooth technology. Close or turn o these apps and features when you aren't using
them.
To see and close the applications that are running, tap . On the app that you want to close, tap .
Some features, such as Bluetooth technology, must be closed through the device settings. Swipe down from the top of the
screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger. Tap the Quick Setting icon for that feature, or tap .
