Turn o connections
If your device is out of a wireless coverage area, you can turn o connections so that your device doesn't search for a
network signal continuously. You can also help extend battery life by deleting saved Wi-Fi networks that you no longer use.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.

Tap .
3. Do any of the following:
To turn o all connections at once, in the Wireless & networks section, tap More. Turn on the Airplane mode
switch.
To turn o a Wi-Fi connection, tap Wi-Fi. Turn o the switch.
To delete a saved Wi-Fi network, tap Wi-Fi. Tap a Wi-Fi network, and then tap Forget.
Using Battery saver mode
You can set up Battery saver mode to turn on automatically and help make your battery last longer when you need it most!
When Battery saver mode is turned on, your device conserves battery power by limiting vibration, location services, and
background data capabilities. If you want to save more battery power, you can adjust more settings.
By default, Battery saver mode turns
o automatically when your device is plugged into a power source.
Note: When Battery saver mode is turned on, some applications and messaging services that rely on syncing might not
update unless you open them.
Change when Battery saver mode turns on
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
In the upper-right corner of the screen, tap > .
3. Tap Battery saver > Turn on automatically.
4. Tap an option.

o Battery saver mode
Battery saver mode is automatically turned o when you start charging your device. You can also turn o Battery saver
mode manually.
