Troubleshooting: Mobile Hotspot mode
I can't use my smartphone as a mobile hotspot
Try the following actions:
• Verify that your mobile network connection and your Wi-Fi connection are both turned on.
•
Verify that your BlackBerry smartphone is connected to the mobile network by checking that the indicator appears in
the connections area at the top of the home screen.
• Verify that your wireless service plan is set up to use Mobile Hotspot mode. For more information, contact your wireless
service provider.
• If you are roaming, on the Mobile Network Options screen, verify that the Data Services field and the While Roaming field
are set to On.
