To stop using a password, set the Device Password switch to Off.
Change your work space password
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Balance > Change Password.
3. To unlock your work space and BlackBerry device using the same password, set the Use as my device password
switch to On.
Take care to remember your work space password, as it can't be reset or recovered. When you exceed the number of
allowed attempts to enter your work space password, your work space and all of its contents are deleted.
Protect your micro SIM card with a PIN
You can use a micro SIM card PIN to prevent unauthorized use of your micro SIM card in another device. For example, if
you lost your micro SIM card and someone tries to use it in another device, the micro SIM card can't be used unless the PIN
is entered correctly.
You can request the PIN for your micro SIM card from your service provider.
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2.
Tap Settings > Security and Privacy > Micro SIM Card.
3. Set the Micro SIM Card PIN Lock switch to On.
4. Type the micro SIM card PIN that your service provider gave you.
CAUTION
: If you exceed the number of allowed attempts to enter the micro SIM card PIN, your micro SIM card will stop
functioning. To unblock your micro SIM card, contact your service provider.
Change your micro SIM card PIN
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap Settings > Security and Privacy > Micro SIM Card.
• To change the PIN that protects your micro SIM card, tap Change PIN 1.
• To change the PIN that controls access to calling features such as fixed dialing, tap Change PIN 2.
Finding and protecting a lost device
BlackBerry Protect includes features designed to help you find your BlackBerry device and help protect your device's data
if your device is ever lost or stolen. You can manage up to seven devices from your BlackBerry Protect account.
After you turn on BlackBerry Protect in your device settings, visit http://protect.blackberry.com and sign in with your
BlackBerry ID. On the BlackBerry Protect website, you can view the current location of your device on a map, make it ring
