The third tab of the Format screen is called Slate. It provides control over a simple text character
generator used to burn into the image timecode, frame numbers, and simple custom text. To activate
thisfunction,clickonthe‘Enable’checkboxintheSlateandBurn-InTextsection.Thecontrolsthen
become active.
Underthewindowyouwillseea+,-,andchalkicon.Clickonthe‘+’buttonandawindowwillpopupto
displayoptionsfortext.Selectinganexistingitemandclickingonthe‘–’buttonwilleliminatethattext
from the burn-in.
Within the pop-up window, select items for display on the left and move them to the right list with the
arrowbutton.‘Remove’willdeleteselecteditemsfromthelist.
