Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Blade® mQX Quad-Copter—a great new Horizon Hobby RC product designed by experts in RC to make your flying experience as unique as it is rewarding. The mQX comes out of the box completely assembled and flight tested. If you’ve already moved up through coaxial machines to single-rotor models like the mSR or 120 SR, you’re going to find the mQX just as stable and predictable. Chances are you’ll feel like a pro after just a few minutes on the sticks.

Battery Charging Celectra™ 1-Cell 3.7V Variable Rate DC Li-Po Charger 1S 3.7V 500mAh 12C Li-Po Battery Pack (E-flite EFLB5001S) The Blade mQX 1S Li-Po battery features a JST connector that allows you to safely charge your battery pack when used with the included Li-Po charger and charge adapter. The included flight battery is safe to charge up to 2C (1.0 Amp). Use only Horizon Hobby approved battery packs and chargers compatible with this product. 1. Connect the power supply to an appropriate power source.
Transmitter and Receiver Binding Binding is the process of programming the receiver of the control unit to recognize the GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) code of a specific transmitter. You need to ‘bind’ your chosen Spektrum™ or JR® DSM® technology equipped aircraft transmitter to the receiver for proper operation. If you purchased an RTF model, the transmitter is bound to the model at the factory. To bind or re-bind your mQX to your chosen transmitter, please follow the directions below.
Binding for “X” and “+” Flight Configurations Your mQX comes out of the box in “X” configuration. It is also capable of being flown in “+” configuration, if that is your preference. To fly the mQX in “+” configuration: 1. Remove the Quad-Copter canopy 2. Turn the canopy counterclockwise 45 degrees (refer to the arrows on the circuit board) 3. Reinstall the canopy on the mounting frame. The LED status will indicate which mode your Quad-Copter is in.
Transmitter Control B A H C G F D E When pressed down, trim buttons make a sound that increases or decreases in pitch at each pressing. The middle or neutral trim position is heard as a middle tone in the pitch range of the sounds. The end of the control range is sounded by a series of beeps.
Understanding the Primary Flight Controls If you are not familiar with the controls of your mQX, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with them before attempting your first flight.
4-in-1 Control Unit Function The unique Control Unit installed in your mQX is a lightweight combination of main motor electronic speed controls (ESCs), mixers, gyros and a DSM2 receiver. The 4-in-1 unit is also equipped with a blue status indicator LED. • Before each flight, ALWAYS power on the transmitter before connecting the flight battery to the 4-in-1 unit. After each flight, disconnect the flight battery from the 4-in-1 unit before powering off the transmitter.
Continue making minor trim adjustments until the machine hovers at a low altitude with very little drifting and directional control input. If the mQX is your first Quad-Copter-type model, seek the help of an experienced pilot to trim the model for you before making your first flight. • With your mQX properly trimmed and maintaining a stable low-level hover, practice using the rudder, elevator and aileron controls to familiarize yourself with the machine’s responses to control inputs.

Binden von Sender und Empfänger Beim Bindeprozess wird der Empfänger programmiert, um den GUID- (Global eindeutiger Identifikations-) Code eines einzelnen speziellen Senders zu erkennen. Für einen ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb müssen Sie Ihren gewählten Flugzeugsender mit Spektrum JR DSM Technologie an den Empfänger „binden“. Binden für “X” und “+” Flugkonfiguration Ihr mQX wird aus der Box in der “X” Konfiguration geliefert. Sie können ihn auch in der “+” Konfiguration fliegen. Um den Quad-Copter auf “+” zu konfigurieren: 1. Nehmen Sie die Kabinenhaube des Quad-Copters ab. 2. Drehen Sie die Kabinenhaube gegen den Uhrzeigersinn 45°. (Halten Sie sich an die Pfeile auf der Platine) 3. Setzen Sie die Kabinenhaube wieder auf. Die LED zeigt Ihnen an in welchem Mode sich der Quad-Copter befindet.
Sendersteuerung B A H C G F D E Wenn die Trimmtasten gedrückt werden, geben sie einen Signalton von sich, der bei jedem erneuten Drücken höher oder tiefer wird. Die mittlere oder neutrale Trimmstellung erklingt in der mittleren Tonhöhe. An den äußeren Enden des Steuerbereichs erklingt eine Tonfolge.
Einführung in die Hauptsteuerfunktionen Wenn Ihnen die Steuerung Ihres mQX noch nicht geläufig ist, nehmen Sie sich bitte ein paar Minuten Zeit, um sich mit ihr vertraut zu machen, bevor Sie Ihren ersten Flug versuchen.
Die Funktion der 4-in-1 Einheit Diese einzigartige Kontrolleinheit ist eine leichte Kombination von elektronischen Fahrtreglern, Mischern, Kreiseln und einem DSM2 Empfänger. Die 4-in-1 Einheit ist mit einer blauen Status Indikator LED versehen. • Schalten Sie vor jedem Flug IMMER erst den Sender ein, bevor Sie den Flugakku an die 4-in-1 Einheit verbinden. Trimmen Sie das Modell so weit dass es im Schwebeflug sehr wenig driftet und dazu wenig Eingaben in die Steuerung benötigt. • Fliegen Sie mit dem richtig getrimmten Modell in einem niedrigen Schwebeflug und machen sich weiter mit der Steuerung vertraut. Denken Sie daran die Steuereingaben so gering wie möglich zu halten. • Haben Sie sich mit dem Schwebeflug in niedriger Höhe vertraut gemacht können Sie auf größere Höhen von ca. 1 -1,30 Meter wechseln und sich dort weite mit dem mQX vertraut machen.

Affectation de l’émetteur et du récepteur L’affectation est le processus qui programme le récepteur pour qu’il reconnaisse le code (appelé GUID - Globally Unique Identifier) d’un émetteur spécifique. Vous devez affecter l’émetteur Spektrum™ pour avions à technologie DSM2/DSMX de votre choix au récepteur afin d’assurer un fonctionnement correct. Si vous avez acheté la version RTF, vous n’avez pas à effectuer cette étape.
Affectation pour les configurations en “X” ou “+” Votre mQX est livré par défaut en configuration “X”. Il est capable de voler en configuration “+” si vous le souhaitez. Pour passer le mQX en mode “+” : 1. Retirez le fuselage du modèle. 2. Faites pivoter le fuselage de 45° dans le sens anti-horaire. (suivez les flèches présentes sur la platine électronique) 3. Replacez le fuselage sur la structure. La DEL de statut indiquera dans quelle configuration vous êtes.
Contrôle de l’émetteur B A H G C F D E Remarque : Lorsqu’ils sont enfoncés, les boutons de trim font un bruit qui augmente ou diminue en intensité à chaque pression. La position intermédiaire ou neutre du trim utilise une tonalité de milieu de gamme. Une série de bips sonores indique la fin de la plage de contrôle.
Compréhension des commandes de vol de base Si vous n’avez pas encore bien assimilé les commandes de votre mQX, prenez quelques minutes pour vous familiariser avec elles avant de tenter votre premier vol.
Module 4 en 1 Ce module qui est installé dans votre mQX est la combinaison de variateurs de vitesse, de mixeurs, de gyros et d’un récepteur DSM2 le tout dans cette électronique très légère et compacte. Le module 4 en 1 est également équipé d’une DEL bleue de statut. • Avant chaque vol, TOUJOURS mettre l’émetteur sous tension avant de brancher la batterie au module 4 en 1. Après chaque vol, TOUJOURS débrancher la batterie avant de mettre l’émetteur hors tension.
Continuez d’effectuer de légères corrections aux trims en faisant un stationnaire à basse altitude. Si le mQX est votre premier quadricoptère, n’hésitez à demander l’aide d’un pilote expérimenté pour effectuer ces réglages avant votre premier vol. • Avec votre mQX correctement réglé, maintenez un stationnaire à basse altitude tout en agissant doucement sur les manches un par un, afin de vous familiariser avec les commandes.

Garantie et réparations Durée de la garantie Garantie exclusive - Horizon Hobby, Inc. Réparations payantes En cas de réparation payante, nous établissons un devis que nous transmettons à votre revendeur. La réparation sera seulement effectuée après que nous ayons reçu la confirmation du revendeur. Le prix de la réparation devra être acquitté au revendeur. Pour les réparations payantes, nous facturons au minimum 30 minutes de travail en atelier ainsi que les frais de réexpédition.

Funzioni dell’unità di controllo 4-in-1 L’unica unità di controllo installata sul modello mQX è una combinazione leggera di regolatore elettronico per i motori (ESC), miscelatori, giroscopi e ricevitore DSM2. Ha pure un LED blu indicatore di stato. • Prima di ogni volo, accendere SEMPRE il trasmettitore prima di collegare alla batteria l’unità 4-in-1. Dopo ogni volo scollegare la batteria dall’unità 4-in-1 prima di spegnere il trasmettitore.
Si continui a fare piccole regolazioni sui trim finché il modello resta in volo stazionario con una deriva minima e controlli ridotti. Se questo è il vostro primo modello di Quad-Copter, vi conviene chiedere l’aiuto di un modellista esperto in questo campo, specialmente per il primo volo. • Con il modello mQX ben trimmato, mantenere un volo stazionario a bassa quota cercando di fare pratica con i vari comandi (timone, elevatore, alettone) per familiarizzare con le risposte del modello.
