INSTRUCTIONSFORDOWNLOADINGSETUPS:
Hoveryourmousecursoroverthe“DOWNLOADSETUPS”bar;thiswillopenalistofavailablemodelsfor
yourselectedtransmitter.Scrolldownthelisttolocatethedesiredsetupfile.Clickingonthatlinkwill
automaticallydownloadtheselectedfiletoyourcomputer.Note:Youcan
downloadfilesindividuallyto
yourcomputerorselectDownloadAllSetupstodownloadazipfilethatwillcontainallthesetupsfor
yourselectedtransmitter.
Exploreyourcomputertolocatethe.SPMfilesyoujustdownloaded.Identifythedriveassignedtoyour
SDcard.Draganddropthe.SPM
file(s)fromthedownloadedlocationtotheSDcard.Electronically
“Eject”theSDcardtomakeitsafetoremovetheSDcardfromyourcomputer.Note:OnMacandLinux
machines,youwillneedtounmount theSDcard.
InserttheSDcardintoyourSpektrumradio’scardslot.While
holdingdowntheroller,powerupthe
radio.WhenyouseetheSystemSetupmenu,releasetherollerandscrolldowntoModelSelect.Scroll
downtoselectanunusedmodeloramodelyouwishtoerase.
Next,scrolldowntothebottomoftheSystemSetupmenuand
highlighttheoptionTransfer SD Card.
Clicktheroller.TheOptionsfieldwillchangefromInsertCardtoSelectOption.Usetherollerto
highlightthisarea,andthenclickit.Thiswillcausetheboxtobeginblinking.RolltotheImportModel
andclicktheroller.
Youwillnow
seethewordfollowedbyalistoffoldersand/orfilesonyourSDcard’srootfolder.Scroll
downtothefileyoujustdownloadedandclicktoselectit.MACUSERS:TheMacOSaddsanextrafile
withthesamenamebutwithaleadingdot.Skipover
thisfileandselecttheonewithouttheleadingdot
instead.
Thescreenwillnowpromptyoutoverifythatthecorrectmodelistobeoverwrittenwiththenewfile.
SelectCANCELorIMPORTasappropriate.IfyouselectCANCEL,youshouldgobackandselectthe
appropriatemodelto
replace.ByselectingIMPORT,themodelwillbeloadedinandbeginexecution
Thisfunctionoverwritesallmodelmemories.Ensurethatthemodelscurrentlyinyourtransmitterare
savedonanSDcardseparatefromthetransmitterbeforeperformingthisfunction.
IMPORTANT:Afterimportingamodel,youmustrebindthe
transmitterandreceiver.TheMainScreen
mustshowDSM2orDSMXintheupperleftcorner.Youcanimportamodeltoanylocationyouwant.If
youprefertouseImportAll,youcanuseyourPCtorenametheSPMfile .Thefirsttwodigits(01to50)
are
thedestinationmodelnumber.You rSDcardcanonlycontain50models.Savefilestofoldersonthe
cardthenremovefromthecardallunusedmodels.Filesareselectedbytheirpositioninthedirectory
table
