Carrying out the system test
You have the option of carrying out a system test. The system checks the GPS
antenna and whether the reversing signal and the vehicle ignition are correctly
connected to the system.
1 Select SYSTEM TEST menu item in the INSTALLATION setup menu.
2 Press the right knob/pushbutton ;.
3 Choose between SENSOR TEST, INTERNAL TEST and CALIBRAT. DATA.
✔ The displays containing the corresponding test results are shown.
Activating / deactivating the code feature
You can activate your TravelPilot’s code feature in the SAFETY setup menu. If
the code feature is activated and the unit was disconnected from the battery
power supply, you can only operate the unit again once you have entered a
code number.
Note: Since the TravelPilot is not equipped with any other theft pro-
tection system, you should activate the code feature.
To activate / deactivate the code feature,
1 highlight the CODE menu item in the SAFETY setup menu and
2 press the right knob/pushbutton ;.
The code feature is activated / deactivated. The current status is displayed along-
side CODE. You have to respond to the confirmation request by entering the
code. The default setting is OFF, i.e. the code is not activated.
