Bypassing a traffic jam during navigation
Alongside the feature for automatically bypassing traffic jams with the aid of the
dynamic navigation feature, the TravelPilot also gives you the option of manual-
ly entering traffic jams or blocked sections of road during an active navigation
session.
To bypass a traffic jam, proceed as follows:
1 Press the traffic jam button 7.
✔ The traffic jam menu is displayed.
2 Open the TRAFFIC AHEAD menu item.
✔ The traffic jam bypass menu opens. The selection marker is positioned
over the TO item.
3 Press the right knob/pushbutton ;.
4 Use the right knob/pushbutton ; to move the selection marker to the
FROM item.
5 Use the right knob/pushbutton ; to set the distance from your current
position at which the traffic jam bypass should begin.
6 Use the right knob/pushbutton ; to move the selection marker to the TO
item.
7 Use the right knob/pushbutton ; to set the distance from your current
position at which the traffic jam bypass should end.
8 Select OK and
9 press the right knob/pushbutton ;.
✔ The navigation menu opens again and the route is recalculated. NEW
CALC appears in the title line whilst the route is being calculated.
