CITY CENTRE
You can choose between several different locations for the city entered
under the menu item CITY CENTRE.
STREET/CROSSING
Enter your destination street under the menu item STREET/CROS-
SING in the same way as you entered the city name and confirm your
selection by pressing CONFIRM. Following this, the menu items
STORE DESTINATION, START RTE GUIDANCE, CROSSING will
appear in the display.
Before you confirm START RTE GUIDANCE, you can store the
address you have entered in your personal destination memory by
selecting STORE DESTINATION; you can also enter any name you
choose along with this information by selecting
ENTER SHORT
NAME
.
The destination memory has a limited storage capacity. Depending on
the length of the addresses entered, it can accommodate
approximately 20 or more destinations.
After entering the street, select CROSSING to obtain a list of all of the
streets which cross the one you have entered so that you can specify
your destination more accurately.
OTHER LOCAL TARGETS
You can choose such destinations as CAR PARK, GARAGE or
RAILWAY STATION under the menu item OTHER LOCAL
TARGETS.
