Enter position
Entering your position is only required in exceptional cases when the
system is unable to determine the vehicle position automatically with
the help of GPS.
Press for approximately 3 seconds. The display shown on the right
will then appear. Use the up/down cursor button to select ENTER
POSITION and confirm your selection by pressing CONFIRM.
The next menu screen will appear in the display.
After selecting DIRECT, use the cursor buttons in the same way as for
entering the destination by selecting the appropriate characters from
the alphanumeric selection field and pressing CONFIRM to activate
them. Once you have entered the beginning letters, move the cursor to
ENT and press CONFIRM.
If the city or town and the street of your actual position is entered with a
crossing, then you can set the position.
Use the menu item FROM DEST. MEMORY to access the destination
memory and enter a destination stored there as your current position.
Only those destinations which have been stored as crossings are
available.
Use the menu item CURRENT DESTINATION in order to use the
destination entered last as the present position, as long as it was
entered as a crossing.
