Traffic Program search/Station preset buttons
In the TP mode, a search for traffic program stations only will be made
when the station search function is activated. You can also use the
SCAN search in this mode.
You can allocate 6 different FM stations to the station preset buttons,
as described under ”Storing stations on the station preset buttons”.
Switching audio mute on/off
By pressing , you can switch all of the FM operating modes to audio
mute and the radio will be set to standby for traffic messages. When
switched to audio mute, the station will still appear in the display.
If a station with traffic information has not been selected, the radio
cannot be switched to audio mute.
If the traffic information station you have tuned into is no longer within
your reception range, then the radio will automatically search for
another traffic information station.
If there is no traffic information station available, then audio mute will
be switched off and the inverted TP will disappear from the display.
If the radio is switched off while it is switched to audio mute, then
the traffic information station selected will play for approximately
10 seconds when the radio is switched back on again, and then
the radio will switch back to audio mute.
Switch audio mute off again by pressing .
