Entering the code number

If the car radio is cut off from its power supply, then it will not be

possible to operate the radio immediately after it has been re-

connected. When the radio is switched on, the word CODE will appear

in the display. The letter C will flash.

First, you must enter the five-digit code using the station buttons 1 to 6.

Example for entering the code: the code number is 15342 (you can find

your code number on the enclosed RADIO CODE CARD). Press the

corresponding buttons in the correct sequence.

After you enter the first digit, the word CODE will disappear from the

display and the number you have entered will appear in the first

position, followed by four dashes.

The position at which you must enter the next digit will flash. After you

have entered all five digits, the first digit will flash again. At this point,

you can re-enter the code as often as you like. You can only correct

any of the digits in the code by entering the complete number once

again. In order to confirm the code number you have entered, press the

volume button. The radio will automatically activate the station you

were listening to last.
