General instructions
First-time operation
Press in order to switch the unit on.
Press again in order to switch the unit off.
The radio can also be switched on and off with the ignition.
If you want the radio to switch on when you start the ignition, then do
not press to switch it off.
If the radio is switched on without starting the vehicle ignition, then it
will switch off again automatically after one hour.
Adjusting the tone
Press in order to activate the functions for fader, bass, treble and
balance in that sequence.
The settings for bass and treble are stored separately for the
wavebands AM, FM for traffic messages (only during a message) and
for CD operation.
The settings for fader and balance are stored together for all of the
operating modes.
The values will appear in the display in numbers ranging from - 10 to
+ 10. After you have activated the desired function, you must adjust the
volume control within 4 seconds or the function will switch off.
