STARTING OFF RIGHT

EASY CLEANING:

Before using this jar for the ﬁrst time

(and after blending), add a little water and a drop of dish

soap to the jar, and secure the lid. Place the jar on the

blender, and press “Pulse” a few times. Remove and rinse!

PERFECT BLENDING:

For an eortless blend, begin by

loading your jar with liquids, followed by soft solids.

Last, add hard, dense items, such as ice and other frozen

ingredients. Remember to secure the lid before blending

WHAT’S THAT SMELL?

So you’ve run your new

Blendtec® blender a few times, and you've noticed an

odd burning smell coming from the motor base. Not

to worry—this just means the motor’s carbon brushes

are getting comfortable as they gear up for years and

years of service in your kitchen.
