brackets and screws for mounting the
blind in almost any position on the
window.Unwrap each blind and set it
againstits designatedwindowto
determine whether it was made to fit

If the blind was ordered as an “Inside
Mount,”toensureaproperfit,thefactory
has alrea
dy made allowances
from the
windowmeasurements.
BracketInstallation
Theinstallationbracketsaredesignedwith
a series of holes to allow for many
different mounting conditions.Mount
both left and right brackets in the upper
inside corners of each window.Set the
frontof
th
ebracketsoth
atitprojects1/4”
into the room (in front of the drywall).
This allowance will allow the valance
returns to fit snuggly against the drywall.
The doors of the installation brackets are
intendedtoopenfromthefrontandswing
upward.

If the blind was ordere
d as an “Outside
Mount,”
the factory has made the item
exactlytotheorderedsize.
BracketInstallation
The installation brackets are designed to
work for wall mounting.Use a minimum
of two screws through the back plate of
each bracket, one
being placed in an
upperhole.Mak
esur
ethisupperscrewis
firmly imbedded into the wall framing.
Miniblind installation brackets require
secure fastening.Brackets also can be
mountedontotrimormoldingaroundthe
windows.If you are installing into a
hollow wall, you’ll need to purchase the
appropriateho
llowwallanchors.Seekthe
advice of an expert at your local
hardware
store.
Plantocentertheoutsidemountblindon
the window, allowing equal extension
beyond the window edge on both sides.
Brackets should be placed a minimum of
21/2”above window opening for
miniblinds.

If the blind mu
st be extended from the
wall, due to window cranks or other
objects of this nature, spacer blocks are
provided(ifrequested)fortheinstallation
andcentersupportbrackets.
CenterSupports
If the blind is over 60 inches wide,
center supports have been furnished.
Center suppor
ts are to be spaced evenly.
Install
centersupportssothattheydonot
interfere with any lift cords or slat
ladders.For inside mount, the backplate
of the installation brackets should be
mounted at the distance out, from the
backofthewindow.
