EASY POOL STEP (NE113) This carton (NE113) contains ALL the necessary pieces and instructions for installation of your new step. Please follow all instructions for proper installation of this step. EASY POOL STEP WITH OUTSIDE LADDER (NE126) This is carton 1 of 2. The step and the necessary instructions for installation are included within this carton. You should have a second carton labeled which contains the outside ladder for this system (NE126B).

STEP 1 • Lay one of the side panels (H) down on a flat surface. • Each step (C) has a groove where the riser will slide in which is located on the bottom of each step. • Line up a step (C) by positioning the connected dowels on the step with two of the round holes on the side panel (H). NOTE: Make sure that the treads on the step are facing towards the TOP of the side panel (the skinnier part of panel) and that the riser groove on the step is towards the back of the step.
STEP 4 • Leave the side panel facing upward and position one of the lock caps (I) centered over any hole on the side panel. • Using a small rubber mallet or a (block of wood and a small hammer), tap on the locking cap until it is secured over the pin sticking through the side of the step and is flush with the side panel. • Repeat this procedure for each of the additional seven openings on this side of the step.
STEP 6 • Stand step upright and locate two short handrail posts (B). • The short handrail posts should be installed into the holes located on the second step with closed end inside the hole and the open end facing up. • Screw handrail posts into place using (2) screws from hardware bag (J). NOTE Do NOT install long handrail posts at this time, they must be installed after completing Step 7. STEP 7 • Place assembled step INSIDE the pool where you would like to enter the pool.
STEP 8 • The two long handrail posts (A) should be installed into the holes located at the back of the step. • When installing these posts, make sure that the closed end goes into the opening and that the open end is facing up. • Once in place, secure using (2) screws from hardware bag (J). NOTE If you are having a problem getting the handrail posts in due to the sand, rock the step left and right to distribute sand.
STEP 10 • Lubricate inside of long and short handrail posts with liquid soap or lubricant. • Attach handrails (D) to handrail posts by pushing into posts. The more curved part of the handrail is meant to be installed in the long handrail post. • Using (4) screws from hardware bag (J), secure handrails in place. • Stick one danger sticker (K) on each handrail so that one faces inside the pool and the other faces the outside.
OUTSIDE LADDER (NE126B) FOR USE WITH: EASY POOL STEP WITH OUTSIDE LADDER This enclosed ladder will attach to the Easy Pool Step (NE113). Please open the step carton and assemble the step per the instructions. Refer to this book for instructions on the assembly and attachment of the ladder when instructed in step manual. NOTE This ladder may be added onto the Easy Pool Step to create an A-frame entry system in the event that a step only is no longer acceptable for use.

STEP 1 • Place the bottom step (G) on a level surface with indentations facing up. • Take leg (E) and stand upright (pointy side down). When installed on bottom step, the leg will need to have the raised areas facing inward. The raised area with the pre-drilled screw hole should be at the front of the ladder toward the top of the leg. • Place the left leg into the indentation on the left side of the step and push straight down until it clicks into place.
STEP 3 • Put ladder aside for now and install handrails (D) onto platform (F). • Lay one handrail on flat surface and push the connected dowels of the platform into the openings on the handrail until fully seated. Make sure treads of platform are facing upward. • Before attaching second handrail, make sure that the longer part of the handrail is facing in the same direction on both handrails. Repeat above for installation of second handrail.
STEP 4 - CONT. • Place washer on bolt and insert from INSIDE of ladder thru leg and step connector. Insert second washer on end of bolt and screw on nut. Do not over tighten. • Repeat above steps for the right step connector with remaining bolt, washers and nut. • To attach step connectors to steps, secure with (2) #10 x 1/4” screw through each pre-marked opening on step connectors into steps on left and right sides.
STEP 6 • Once shields are situated properly, lift ladder up and line up the openings of shield with long handrail posts of the step. • Slide the ladder down until it rests on ground outside. OPEN END • Coat adjustable tube (C) with lubricant and slip (1) mounting block (B) all the way down over the nubs on the tube. The open side should be exposed. • Repeat for second adjustable tube and mounting block. • Push one adjustable tube into the longer part of each handrail.
STEP 7 • Lubricate inside of long and short handrail posts on step with liquid soap or lubricant. • Attach handrails (D) from step box (NE113) to handrail posts by pushing into posts. The more curved part of the handrail is meant to be installed in the long handrail post. • Using (4) screws from step box (NE113) hardware bag (J), secure handrails in place. NOTE When pool is not in use, always make sure that the outside ladder is in the upright position to limit access to ladder.
SAFETY INFORMATION • When lifting heavy or awkward loads, it is suggested that two people lift to avoid injury. • DO NOT use the pool entry system for any purpose other than that for which it is intended. • Maximum weight on steps should NOT exceed 350 lbs. WARNING Exceeding the recommended weight limit may cause the step to fail and may result in injury. MAINTENANCE • Step/ladder/bridges must be removed for winter, failure to do so can cause the step to crack.
When the ladder is lifted to this position it will slide down into the exposed grove (A) For additional security Lt is always recommended to add D small chain and lock if the ladder needs to be in the closed position for extended periods of time.

ÉTAPE 1 • • • • HAUT DU PANNEAU Déposer un des panneaux latéraux (H) sur une surface plane. Chaque marche (C) a une rainure située au bas où faire glisser la contremarche. Alignez une marche (C) en positionnant les chevilles de la marche avec les deux trous ronds du panneau latéral (H). REMARQUE : s’assurer que les bandes sur la marche sont tournées vers le HAUT du panneau latéral (la partie mince du panneau) et que la rainure de la contremarche est tournée vers l'arrière de la marche.
ÉTAPE 4 • • • • Le panneau latéral est tourné vers le haut et placer un des bouchons de plastique (I), le centrer sur n'importe un des trous du panneau latéral. À l'aide d'un maillet en caoutchouc ou d’un petit marteau avec un morceau de bois, tapez sur le bouchon d’ancrage jusqu'à ce qu'il s’accroche à la cheville du côté de la marche et affleure le panneau latéral. Répéter cette procédure pour chacun des sept autres trous supplémentaires situés sur ce côté de l’escalier.
ÉTAPE 6 • • • Mettre l’escalier debout et installer les deux poteaux courts de la rampe (B). Les poteaux courts doivent être installés dans les trous situés sur la deuxième marche, l’extrémité fermée à l'intérieur du trou et l'extrémité ouverte vers le haut. Visser la main courante à l'aide des vis (2) du sac de quincaillerie (J). AVIS NE PAS installer les poteaux longs de la rampe, ces derniers doivent être installés après l'étape 7.
ÉTAPE 8 • • • Les poteaux longs pour la rampe (A) doivent être installés dans les trous situés à l'arrière des marches. Lors de l'installation des poteaux longs, s’assurer que l'extrémité fermée soit dans le trou et que l'extrémité ouverte soit vers le haut. Une fois en place, fixer à l'aide des 2 vis du sac de quincaillerie (J). AVIS Si vous rencontrez un problème en fixant les poteaux de la rampe en raison du sable, secouer les marches de gauche à droite pour le distribuer uniformément.
ÉTAPE 10 • • • • Lubrifier l'intérieur de la rampe et l’intérieur des poteaux longs et courts avec du savon liquide ou un lubrifiant. Attacher les rampes (D) aux poteaux en appuyant sur les poteaux. La partie courbée de la rampe s’installe dans le poteau long. À l'aide des 4 vis à l’intérieur du sac de quincaillerie (J), sécuriser les rampes. Apposer l’étiquette danger (K) sur chaque rampe, une doit faire face à l'intérieur de la piscine et l'autre fait face à l'extérieur.
ÉCHELLE EXTÉRIEURE (NEB126B) UTILISER AVEC: MARCHES EASY STEP AVEC ÉCHELLE EXTÉRIEURE L‘échelle s’attache à l’escalier EASY STEP (NE113). Ouvrir la boîte et assembler l’échelle selon les instructions. Si indiqué, se reporter aux instructions du manuel pour l’assemblage et la fixation de l’échelle. AVIS Cette échelle peut s’intégrer à l’escalier pour piscine EASY STEP pour créer un système d’entrée en forme de A dans le cas où l’escalier seul n’est plus adéquat.

ÉTAPE 1 • • • • Placer la marche inférieure (G) sur une surface plane avec les indentations orientées vers le haut. Placer le montant (E) debout (embout pointu vers le bas). Lorsque le montant est fixé sur la marche inférieure, les parties surélevées du montant sont orientées vers l'intérieur. La partie surélevée comprenant le trou déjà percé pour la vis doit se trouver à l'avant de l'échelle et orientée vers le haut du montant.
ÉTAPE 3 • Mettre l’échelle de côté et installer les rampes (D) sur la plateforme (F). Placer une rampe sur une surface plane et insérer les goupilles de positionnement de la plateforme dans les trous de la rampe jusqu’à emboîtement complet. S’assurer que les rainures de la plateforme sont orientées vers le haut. Avant d’installer la deuxième rampe, s'assurer que la partie la plus longue est orientée dans la même direction. Répéter pour installer la deuxième rampe.
ÉTAPE 4 - CONT. • • • Apposer la rondelle sur l’écrou et introduisez de l'INTÉRIEUR de l’échelle et de la barre de fixation. Insérer la deuxième rondelle sur l'extrémité du boulon et visser l’écrou. Ne pas trop serrer. Répéter les étapes ci-dessus pour la barre du côté droit de la marche avec un boulon, une rondelle et un écrou. Pour fixer la barre à la marche, stabiliser à l’aide d’une vis No10 x 1¼'' à travers l’ouverture prémarquée de la barre de fixation et des côtés gauche et droit de la marche.
ÉTAPE 6 • • Une fois les protecteurs correctement installés, soulever l'échelle et aligner les ouvertures des poteaux longs de la rampe de l’escalier. Glisser l'échelle vers le bas, le long des poteaux jusqu'à ce que la base de l’échelle repose sur le sol, à l'extérieur de la piscine. Extrémité ouverte • • Lubrifier le tube réglable (C) et glisser un bloc de montage (B) jusqu’aux petites bosses au bas du tube. Le côté ouvert doit être exposé. Répéter l’opération avec l’autre tube et l’autre bloc.
ÉTAPE 7 • • • AVIS Lubrifier l'intérieur de la rampe et l’intérieur des poteaux longs et courts avec du savon liquide ou un lubrifiant. Insérer les rampes (D), boîte (NE113), dans les poteaux; les fixer en place en appuyant. La partie courbée de la rampe s’insère dans le poteau long. Stabiliser les rampes et les fixer en place à l’aide des 4 vis du sac de quincaillerie (J). Lorsque la piscine n'est pas utilisée, s’assurer que l'échelle extérieure est en position verticale pour empêcher .
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ • • • Pour éviter toute blessure, il est recommandé de demander de l’aide pour soulever une charge lourde ou encombrante. NE PAS utiliser ce produit pour un autre usage que celui pour lequel il est destiné. Le poids maximum sur les marches NE DOIT PAS dépasser 159 kg. AVERTISSEMENT Il faut respecter la limite de poids, sinon cela peut provoquer des blessures et endommager l’équipement.
Lorsque l'échelle est élevée dans cette position, elle coulisse dans la rainure pratiquée sur le bord (A) Pour plus de sécurité, il est recommandé d'attacher une chaine avec cadenas pour verrouiller l’échelle, s’il faut en limiter l’accès pendant une longue périodede temps.
