Let's get started 1. Charging the X5 Please use the supplied rapid charger to charge the X5. The charge port rows can be found at the rear of the speaker. A full charge will take around 4 hours. The four battery indicators will light up during charging. 2. Pairing the speaker to your phone or device (Bluetooth mode) 1. Press the ON/OFF button o to enter Bluetooth mode. 2. The speaker will turn on and say “Bluetooth”. The Bluetooth icon 3 and the word “BLUE”, will flash on the LED display. 3.
5. LED light modes With five built-in LED light modes, the X5 lights can be changed to suit the mood and the music. Simply press the LED button xo to toggle through each mode. Press again to go back to Standard EQ. Each time the X5 is powered on, it will reset to Standard EQ.
8. Battery life and play time * The X5 has a play time of around 20 hours at 50% volume. 12. Using the microphones To avoid feedback, please da not point the microphone at the speaker or bring the microphone within 30cm of the speaker. 1. Connect the cable to the microphone as per the below, Diagram A. 2. Plug one or two microphones into the microphone inputs. See 15 & 16 below. 3. The microphone features an ON/OFF switch. Please ensure the microphone is in the ON position to use it. 4. Increase or decrease microphone volume and echo, as per the table below.
13. Duo mode Pairing two X5 speakers together Dual speaker, wireless stereo pairing, for wide stereo sound stage. For maximum bass experience, you can connect two X5 speakers and place one in each corner of a room to double the sound. Please see Section 15 Page 9. 1. Press the power button () on the first speaker to turn the speaker “On”. 2. Press and hold the Duo mode button [XN] for 4 seconds button on the first speaker until the speaker says, “Duo mode pairing” then release the button.
14. Enhancing the bass through speaker positioning (indoors) The XS has a rear firing port to extend the low frequency bass response. If maximum bass is your thing, try these tips and tricks for speaker placement indoors. en the X5 speaker is placed on the floor (assuming no walls close by), the floor ‘e-enforces the bass ting the X58 in a corner gives maximum bass reinforcement (+18dB). When the X5 speaker is sitting on the floor ear a wall, the floor and wall re enforces bass (+1248).
