Recording Videos
To record a video:

Make sure that camera mode is set to . If necessary, tap the flash status icon at
the bottom right of the screen, or touch and hold the screen for video settings.

Tap
to record a video. The video is saved on your external or internal storage
automatically after taken with a ding sound.
To zoom in or out, spread two fingers apart on the screen and pinch. You can also zoom
in or out while recording. While recording, tap the screen to take a photo.

Tap to stop recording.

To view the recorded videos, swipe the screen from the right edge. To go back
to the camera, swipe the screen from the left edge. The videos are displayed in
Filmstrip or Grid view.
Video Settings
Tap the flash status icon at the bottom right of the screen, or tap and hold the screen to
change the video settings.
Tap to switch between the front and rear cameras.
Tap to set the flash. When it is switched to the front camera, this option is not available.
- to use the flash all the time.
- to disable the flash at all times.
Tap to adjust colors for specific light situations.
- for a cloudy environment

Tap for more video settings.
- Time lapse: Tap the slider to turn on or off Time lapse feature. Turn it on to set time
interval.

Video quality: Tap to set video quality.
- Store location: Tap slider to include location information for each photo using the
device’s GPS.
- Video Encoder: Tap to set video encoder. EF500 supports MPEG4, H263, and H264
video playback.
- Audio Encoder: Tap to set audio encoder. EF500 supports AMRNB and AAC audio
formats.
- Video duration: Tap to set video duration. Options include: 30 seconds for MMS, 10
minutes, and 30 minutes.

Color effect: Tap and set color effect of video.
NOTE
