Settings
Use this application to configure your device. Tap > . You can also add and tap a
widget Settings on your Home screen.
Wi-Fi
Tap > Wi-Fi.
Tap the slider to turn on the Wi-Fi feature to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
• Tap and hold the available network to connect or to forget.
• Tap for the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
• Tap to add network manually.
• Tap > Scan to refresh the network list.
• Tap > WPS Pin Entry to connect to a secured Wi-Fi network with a WPS pin.
• Tap > Advanced to customize Wi-Fi settings
Bluetooth
Tap > Bluetooth. Tap the slider to turn on the Bluetooth feature to pair with other
devices for information exchange.
• Tap > Rename phone to rename your device for easy recognition.
• Tap > Visibility timeout to set the length of time for my device to appear on the
search list.
• Tap > Show received files to show all files received via Bluetooth.
More Settings
Tap > More. Use this menu to change more wireless and networks settings with other
devices.
• Airplane mode: Tap to start Airplane mode. All wireless and mobile services are disabled.
• VPN: Tap to set up and edit virtual private networks (VPN) profile and connect to
the VPNs.
You need to set a screen lock pattern, PIN, or password before using the VPNs. For
information how to set up a lock screen, see Security on page 49.
• Tethering & portable hotspot
- Portable Wi-Fi hotspot: Use the portable Wi-Fi hotspot to share the data connection
through the Wi-Fi network.
