Portable Wi-Fi hotspot features requires more battery power and increases your data
usage. It may incur extra charges depending on your data plan.
- USB tethering: Use USB tethering to share the data connection with a computer
via USB.

Bluetooth tethering: Use the Bluetooth tethering to share the data connection with
computers via Bluetooth.

NFC: Tap to turn on the NFC feature to allow data exchange by brining two devices
into close proximity.
•
Android Beam: Available only when the NFC feature is turned on.
•
Mobile networks: Tap to change mobile network settings.
•
Call broadcasts: Tap to change the types of emergency alert settings.
•
Powersave Mode: Tap to start the power-saving mode.
Sound
Tap
> Sound. Use this Sound settings to configure call ringtone or system notification
volume.
Volumes
Tap and move the slider to adjust the volume of media, ringtone and notification, and alarm.
Call ringtone & vibrate
•
Phone ringtone: Tap to select the ringtone to alert you of incoming calls. Tap on ringtones
to hear it. If you decide to set it as a ringtone, tap OK. If not, select other ringtone or
tap Cancel.

Vibrate when ringing: Tap and select the checkmark to set your device to vibrate for
incoming calls. If not, tap and deselect the checkmark.
System
•
Default notification sound: Tap to select the notification sound to alert you of system
notifications. Tap on sound to hear it. If you decide to set it as a notification sound, tap
OK. If not, select other sound or tap Cancel.

Dial pad touch tones: Tap and select the checkmark to set your device to play a sound
when you touch the dial pad.

Touch sounds: Tap and select the checkmark to set your device to play a sound when
you touch applications, menus, or anything on the screen to make selections.
•
Screen lock sound: Tap and select the checkmark to set your device to play a sound
when you unlock or lock the screen.
•
Vibrate on touch: Tap and select the checkmark to set your device to vibrate when you
touch soft keys or on certain screen interactions.
