Press the trigger. The device will emit a red laser.

Aim the laser at the barcode you want to scan.
s When the barcode is scanned successfully, you will hear a beep sound and the results will appear on the
mobile screen.
For the best results, maintain a distance of approximately 10 cm (4 in) when scanning. Aim the laser
at an appropriate angle as shown the following image.
Do not stare into the laser. It may injure your eyes.

When the device is turned off then back on, the device switches to RFID mode automatically.
5.3 Scanning Barcodes using the RFR900S
To scan barcodes using the RFR900S, you need to connect it to the EF400 device.

Connect the RFR900S to the EF400 device using the BBRFIDSample_new app via Bluetooth.
