SAFETY INFORMATION IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Prolonged exposure to high volume levels can damage your hearing. To avoid injury, set the volume to the lowest comfortable level. If you experience ringing in your ears, or voices sound muffled, stop using the headset. Avoid turning up the volume to block noisy surroundings. It’s possible for your ears to adapt to volume that is too high, and this could result in permanent hearing damage without any noticeable discomfort.

HOW TO WEAR Adjusting the Earpieces Adjust the earpieces for a comfortable fit by lengthening or shortening the headband. Positioning the Microphone Rotate the microphone down when you need to use it. Align the tip of the boom with the corner of your mouth for best performance. CHARGING THE HEADSET Connect the USB charger cord into the S450-XT’s USB charging port. If the headset is not fully charged, the indicator will turn red. When the indicator turns blue, and stays blue, S450-XT is fully charged.
CHARGING THE HEADSET (continued) Operation While Using the Charger/Adapter Your S450-XT headset can be operated while charging. If you connect the S450-XT to a charger while it is connected via Bluetooth, the headset will reset and shut off. To turn it back on, slide the switch to the “off” position (if not already done) and then back to the “on” position. This will re-activate the Bluetooth and S450-XT should reconnect to your device.
GETTING STARTED Power S450-XT On/Off (Bluetooth Mode) On: Slide the switch up toward the headband. The LED will flash blue three times and you will hear a voice prompt, “Power on.” If your S450-XT is not already paired with a device, it will automatically go into pairing mode; otherwise, it will attempt to connect with its paired device(s). Off (conserves battery power): Slide the switch down from the headband. The LED will flash red four times and you will hear a voice prompt, “Power off.
GETTING STARTED (continued) Regular Pairing to a Bluetooth Device Placing the S450-XT into Pairing Mode When you turn your S450-XT on for the first time, or if its Paired Device List has been cleared, it will go into pairing mode automatically.
GETTING STARTED (continued) How to Use Wireless Use Listening to Media Play/Pause Quickly double-tap the MFB to play or pause. Skip Tracks To advance to the next track, briefly press the Track Forward button on the front of the earpiece. To go back a track, briefly press the Track Back button on the rear of the earpiece. Making/Taking Calls Your S450-XT headset must be on and connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Making a Call 1. Dial the desired number on your phone. You will hear the call in the headset.
ADVANCED BLUETOOTH FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS ® Multiple Device Pairing and Multipoint Mode The S450-XT has pairing memory for up to 8 devices. The headset can also use Multipoint Mode, which means that it can be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Using the S450-XT in Multipoint Mode 1. To use the S450-XT in Multipoint Mode, first make sure the headset is paired with both your devices. 2. With both devices in range and with their Bluetooth enabled, power on the S450-XT. 3.
® ADVANCED BLUETOOTH FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS (continued) Rejecting a Call To reject an incoming call when not on another call, press and hold the MFB for 1-2 seconds. Phone Voice Control (e.g. Siri® or Google Now ) Press the MFB once while the S450-XT is in Standby Mode to initiate voice command functions on your phone. Support for this is phone dependent. See your phone’s user guide for more information. TM Muting The Parrott Button on the S450-XT is configured at point of manufacture to act as a mute.

CONFIGURING THE PARROTT BUTTON AND UPDATING YOUR S450-XT Parrott Button TM As provided from the factory, the S450-XT’s Parrott Button provides an easy way to mute the headset. However, you can also configure the button for other functions, such as a speed dial button for a dedicated phone number, or to launch a particular application on your phone. You can change them either via the BlueParrott mobile app (blueparrott.

RENSEIGNEMENTS CONCERNANT LA SÉCURITÉ REMARQUE IMPORTANTE SUR LA SÉCURITÉ : Une exposition prolongée à des niveaux sonores élevés peut causer des troubles de l’audition. Pour éviter tout dommage, réglez le volume au niveau le plus bas possible. Si vous entendez des bourdonnements ou si les sons vous semblent étouffés, cessez d’utiliser le casque d’écoute. Évitez d’augmenter le volume pour couvrir les environnements bruyants.

PORT DU CASQUE D’ÉCOUTE Ajustement des écouteurs Allongez ou resserrez l’arceau pour obtenir un ajustement confortable des écouteurs. Positionnement du microphone Pour utiliser le microphone, faites-le pivoter vers le bas. Pour obtenir le meilleur rendement possible, alignez l’extrémité de la tige avec la commissure de vos lèvres. CHARGEMENT DU CASQUE D’ÉCOUTE Branchez le cordon du chargeur USB dans le port de chargement USB du S450-XT.

Si vous branchez le S450-XT à un chargeur durant une connexion par Bluetooth, il se réinitialisera et s’éteindra. Pour le remettre en marche, faites glisser l’interrupteur en position d’arrêt (off) (si ce n’est déjà fait), puis remettez-le en position de marche (on).

Le voyant DEL clignotera trois fois en bleu et vous entendrez le message anglais « Power on » (Mise en marche). Si votre S450-XT n’est pas déjà jumelé à un appareil, il se mettra immédiatement en mode jumelage; autrement, il tentera de se connecter avec l’appareil ou les appareils auxquels il est jumelé.

Sauts de pistes Pour aller à la piste suivante, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton de piste suivante (Track Forward) sur la partie avant de l’écouteur. Pour aller à la piste précédente, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton de piste précédente (Track Back) sur la partie arrière de l’écouteur.

Le S450-XT sera en mode passif et le microphone sera désactivé. Faire/Recevoir des appels Il est impossible d’utiliser le casque pour des appels lorsque le câble 3,5 mm est connecté. Utilisation des fonctions USB Vous pouvez connecter votre casque S450-XT à votre ordinateur par USB et l’utiliser comme casque.

CONFIGURATION DU BOUTON PARROTT ET MISE À JOUR DE VOTRE S450-XT Parrott Button TM Par défaut, le bouton Parrott du S450-XT permet de couper facilement le son du casque. Cependant, vous pouvez aussi configurer le bouton pour d’autres fonctions, par exemple pour en faire un bouton de composition rapide d’un numéro de téléphone dédié, ou pour lancer une application en particulier sur votre téléphone. Vous pouvez modifier ces fonctions à l’aide de l’appli mobile BlueParrott (blueparrott.
