CAUTION
After conrmation of the above conditions, follow these guidelines when performing wiring:
• Always have an individual power circuit specically for the air conditioner.
• Always follow the circuit diagram posted on the inside of the control cover.
• Screws fastening the wiring in the casing of electrical ttings may come loose during
transportation. Because loose screws may cause wire burn-out, check that the screws are
tightly fastened.
• Check the specications for the power source.
• Conrm that electrical capacity is sucient.
• Conrm that starting voltage is maintained at more than 90 percent of the rated voltage
marked on the name plate.
• Conrm that the cable thickness is as specied in the power source specications.
• Always install an earth leakage circuit breaker in wet or moist areas.
• The following can be caused by a drop in voltage: vibration of a magnetic switch, damaging
the contact point, broken fuses, and disturbance of normal functioning.
• An electrical disconnect from a power supply must be incorporated into the xed wiring. It
must have an air gap contact separation of at least 3mm in each active (phase) conductors.
• Before accessing terminals, all supply circuits must be disconnected.
