Pump Information

Upon receiving your new pump please note that all of the pump connections

may not be the same. We are ever striving to assure the best quality in our

features and replacement parts. In doing so the pump manufacturers are

changed from time to time. Please see the below pump information. If you

Your old pump may have an adapter that connects the pump to the Aqua

Genius In-Line filter. This part is usually either grey or white. Please see

figure 1 below.

Please unscrew the current pump in your feature. You will then be able to remove the grey or white adapter. The adapting parts can be unscrewed from the in-line filter, figure 2 below. Figure 2 You can now remove the adapter and the old pump. The new pump can now be placed in the basin and attached, figure 3a and 3b. The in-line filter will screw directly into the top of your new pump. A majority of our pumps will be placed on their side. This does not restrict water flow or operation, figure 4a and 4b.

You may also have to prime your pump by unplugging it, waiting 5 seconds, plugging it back in, and then repeating. Please also note that the red and grey handle in the pictures is the water flow control valve. The flow control valve in all of the pictures is closed. By turning the opposite way you would completely open the valve.
