BMR C5 FRONT BRAKE UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

before proceeding with the installation. This page contains a chart of all provided parts and hardware. It is

the responsibility of the Purchaser to inventory these contents before vehicle disassembly. BMR will not be

held responsible for additional labor cost, service lift charges, etc. that may occur due to missing items.

To perform this installation, you will need the following additional items:

• C5 Brake rotors

• C5 Brake Calipers

• C5 Caliper mounting brackets (GM # 12455799)

• C5 Brake pads

• C5 Guide pins and boots

• C5-specific banjo bolts

• C5 flexible brake hoses

•

All OE components can be sourced from any Chevrolet dealership or purchased through BMR. Items like brake rotors, brake pads, and brake lines

can be substituted with any aftermarket product designed for the C5 Corvette.

PAGE 2 INSTALLATION: 1. Lift vehicle and support with stands. Remove wheel and tire. 2. Remove the brake hose from the caliper. If you have a ’93-’97 model vehicle, loosen the hose from the steel brake line and discard the hose. If you have a ’98-’02 model, you can use the F-Body hoses. 3. Loosen the two caliper mounting bolts and remove the caliper. 4. Remove the 4 bolts that retain the hub assembly and remove hub. 5.
