Working with windows
You can do the following with the windows of the PC UI:
• Leave more than one window open at a time
• Move and resize the windows
• Select options from the window header
• Select options from the auxiliary menu
• Select options from the main part of the window
• Enter information into the window.
Moving and resizing the window
The Move/Resize targets allow you to move or resize a window on
the PC UI. Figure 2-12 shows how to move a window and figure 2-13
shows how to resize a window.
Moving the windows To move the window to a new position on the desktop:
Step 1. Place the cursor over the Move/Resize target.
Step 2. Press the left mouse button and hold it down while you ”drag” the
window to its new position.
Step 3. Release the left mouse button.
To move the window using only the keyboard:
Step 1. Position the cursor over the Move/Resize target.
Step 2. Press and hold the <ENTER> key while using the appropriate arrow
keys to move the window.
