Retain these instructions for future reference. Intended use: The BG-3000R Cartridge is intended for use in filtering potable water in homes and has not been evaluated for other uses.

Filter Cartridge Removal Instructions (Metal Ring Model) 1. Place towel under filter to collect any residual water during cartridge change-out. 2. Turn off water supply by rotating the integral shut-off valve handle fully counter-clockwise. 3. Open drinking water faucet at sink to relieve pressure and affirm water source is shut off. Close drinking water faucet. 4. Turn metal ring all the way to the left. The ring will drop down approximately ½ inch and cartridge will become loose. 5.
