OBJECTIVE:
The object is to be the first to score 50 points without going over. The
players use a wooden baton to try and knock over the numbered wooden
pins.
Points are rewarded based on the numbers on the different pins, which are
marked from 1 to 12.

WARNING: ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS GAME.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. Only
use the product as directed and obey all of the safety rules noted
below. Store the product so that it is inaccessible and out of reach of
young children. The owner of the game is responsible for ensuring that
the warnings and rules are provided to all players. Mis-thrown batons
may cause property damage. All players are responsible to ensure that
Number Kubb is played safely. PLEASE PLAY THE GAME
CAREFULLY. ALWAYS ERR ON THE SIDE OF SAFETY.
Preparing to Play:
1. Ensure that the playing field is flat and clear of all obstructions.
2. Pins are initially placed in a tight group in an upright position about
10 feet away from the throwing area.
3. Ensure that there are no objects behind the target. If there is a wall
behind the target, ensure that the wall has no windows or that the wall is
composed of materials that could not be damaged by the throwing baton.
SAFETY RULES:
1. Always obey the safety rules.
2. Ensure that the playing field is clear of all obstructions.
3. All participants and non-participants (including pets) must stay behind
and at a safe distance from the playing field.
4. No person should be between a player and the target at any time.
5. KEEP AWAY FROM YOUNG CHILDREN.
6. All players and non-participants should always be attentive and observe
the game at ALL times in order to avoid injury caused by mis-thrown
throwing batons and other such hazards.
How to Play:
1. Before beginning to play Number Kubb read and obey the SAFETY
RULES.
DO NOT CROSS THE PATH OF THE THROWING BATON WHILE IN
PLAY.
2. Order of Pins:
1st Row: #1, #2
2nd Row: #3, #10, #4
3rd Row: #5, #11, #12, #6
4th Row: #7, #9, #8
Points
3. If the thrower knocks over one pin, the player receives the number
of points marked on that pin. (#1 – #12)
4. If the player knocks 2 or more pins, the score equals the amount of
pins knocked over. (2 pins equal 2 points, 3 pins equal 3 points)
5. A pin does not count if it is leaning on the throwing baton or any of
the numbered pins.
6. After each throw, the pins are lifted up again in the exact location
where they landed.
