Connecting Your Compact Battery Pack

Important!
• The ash must have batteries installed before connecting it to the Compact Battery Pack. Most ash units
require the standard batteries to be installed in order to power the display functions that allow the ash to
work.
• You may need to activate a setting or custom function on your ash unit to make it draw power only from
the battery pack and not the internal batteries. Refer to your ash unit’s instructions for information about
relevant settings.
Disconnect the Compact Battery Pack from your ash unit before storing it. To disconnect it, turn the ash
unit off and remove the pack’s connector from the ash unit’s power port. When the Bolt Battery pack is
disconnected from the ash, it is off.
