The numbers represent the channel, while the letters represent the group.
A. When using a single ash, set it to the same group and channel as the master.
B. When using multiple ash units, select the same group and channel for all units being used in a
particular light position. For example, if you are using three VS-510C units, you might want to set two
as a main light on 1A, and set the third as a ll light on 1B.
5. If desired, adjust the ash coverage angle by pressing the Zoom button repeatedly.
6. Make sure that the red light on the front of the ash is ashing. This indicates that the unit is ready to re
in wireless TTL slave mode.

For even greater creative control, you can set the output levels of your remote ash units manually.
Using the optical slave feature, the VS-510C can be set to re whenever it detects a signal from the master
ash. This works optically—when the VS-510C “sees” another ash ring, it will instantaneously re along
with it.
