FIT TABLE: When this button is pressed, the screen will be resized to show the entire
extents of the machines table.
RETURN: returns to the previous softkeys, retaining the adjustments that were made to
the drawing.
11.4 Run Strategy
Run Strategy lets you direct the ProtoTRAK PMX to run your master program either
Tool-by-Tool or Part-by-Part.
If you select PART by PART, the program runs the first part through to completion, then
does the 2nd part through to completion and so on for parts 3 and 4.
If you select TOOL by TOOL, the program will run the 1st tool in part 1 and then look to
see if tool 1 is the 1st event in part 2, if it is then it will run tool 1 on part 2, if it is not,
then it will look and see if tool 1 is used in the first event in part 3 and apply the same
rules. Once this is done it will then look at part 4. Once tool 1 is done, it will now run
the next tool found in part 1 and apply the same rules across parts 2, 3 and 4 as it did for
the 1st tool.
Note – Run strategy is applicable only when running a master program.
