15.3 DRO Mode
When the 4
th
axis option is turned on, you will see an extra line for the A axis on the main
readout. In addition, each of the selections in the DRO page will now have an option for
the A axis.
15.3.1 JOG
To JOG the 4
th
axis, simply press the EHW button on the Run Panel, and press the 4
th
button. The electronic handwheel will now jog the 4
th
axis in either direction.
The resolutions for the JOG speed are as follows:
.0001” -> .001 degree per click
.0010” -> .010 degree per click
.0100” -> .100 degree per click
FAST -> FAST
15.3.2 GO TO
When choosing the POSITION option under GO TO, you can now define the A axis as a
position. When manually jogging to the defined A point, the axis will decelerate and
then stop at the defined location.
15.3.3 RETURN ABS 0
Press RETURN ABS 0, and then GO to return to your part’s abs 0 location. The A axis
will move back to its 0 by taking the shortest path.
